Dr. Waler

Dr. Waler is a board-certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist who grew up in South Florida and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida in 2012. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University in 2016 where she developed her passion for ophthalmology. Following veterinary school, she moved to Blacksburg, Virginia where she completed a small animal rotating internship at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and stayed to complete an ophthalmology residency and M.S. degree in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences. Her professional interests include corneal diseases and intraocular surgery.

Dr. Waler is new to the Pacific Northwest and is excited to explore and get to know the beautiful area. In her free time, Dr. Waler enjoys practicing yoga and spending time outdoors with her one-eyed dog, Fetty.
