Client's rights and responsibilities

Client's Rights

As a client of the Animal Vision Center LLC you can expect to:

  • Be treated with consideration, respect, and compassion by all members of our team.
  • Receive accurate and easily understood information about your pet’s condition and treatment options.
  • Be informed of the costs of evaluation, treatment, and payment options available at our hospital.
  • Be able to accept or reject specific treatments for your pet(s) and be notified of the possible consequences of refusal of additional testing or treatments.
  • Receive prompt and courteous replies to concerns you raise regarding your pet(s)

Client's Responsibilities

As a client of the Animal Vision Center LLC you are expected to:

  • Disclose all relevant, accurate, and complete information about your animal’s health and history.
  • Help to minimize the risk of bites, scratches, etc., by notifying our staff if your pet is aggressive and to limit you and your pet’s interactions with other animals.
  • Use client feedback processes to address any issues that may arise and clearly communicate your wants and needs to our staff.
  • Abide by administrative and operational procedures, including office hours, leashing requirements, payment, appointment scheduling and cancellation policies.
  • Show respect for other clients, patients, and hospital staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the doctors and staff to develop and carry out an agreed-upon treatment plan.
  • Meet your financial obligations.

 

As a client of the Animal Vision Center, you are also responsible for complying with our Client Code of Conduct
